Yes, the news came out last night - before we even finished writing our Roundtable post, so that shows our stellar research skills - that the Wisconsin band will be playing at tomorrow night's game. The Green Bay Press Gazette has the story.
The band is being allowed to play amidst allegations of hazing and sexual misconduct. We would criticize the move to allow them back, but we're pretty sure Mo Evans and Abe Koroma will be playing Saturday as well. HEY-OOOOO!
But seriously, having the band will definitely be a boost to the crowd, if not to the actual Wisconsin players. College football without marching bands is...well... kinda like the NFL. Boring. This will give it more of a big-game atmosphere, and it should be awesome. That is assuming the band can actually concentrate on playing a song without fondling one another, of course.
